The First World War was meant to be “The War to End All Wars.” Unfortunately, that title was a touch too idealistic. Evil is never content to lurk in the shadows for long, and the world would become keenly aware of that only a couple of decades after World War One’s end. World War Two sprang up out of the usual territorial disputes and imperialist conquests that have often caused such conflicts to begin throughout human history.

What set World War Two apart from many other wars, though, was how it evolved into a war that sought to unite most of mankind against a handful of dictatorial regimes. This was largely a war to reject fascism and prove that mankind was advancing beyond such barbarism. By its end, World War Two was seen as a full rescue mission to save the world from tyranny.

Over the years of the conflict, no shortage of bizarre and interesting historical events occurred. There were individuals who rose to great prominence for the deeds they did during World War Two. This quiz will ask you questions about various facets of World War Two. Everything from key personnel to relevant events are up to be on this quiz.
