World War Two remains arguably the bloodiest conflict to ever take place on Earth. Such a fact naturally inspires questions. What could have possessed mankind to slaughter people in the millions all throughout the world? Who was responsible for this nightmare of bloodshed? The blame for World War Two rests primarily on the shoulders of those world leaders who saw humanity in a state of peace and rejected it.

For most of the beasts responsible for World War Two, greed was a primary reason behind their monstrous deeds. More than one philosopher has remarked that absolute power corrupts absolutely. These figures had nothing if not absolute power. Even so, dominion over their people still wasn't enough for these monsters; they had their hearts set on conquering the entire world and burning away any groups of people whom they found disagreeable.

This quiz will catalog some of the most horrendous beasts to have ever walked the Earth: villains whose very nature inspires people to feel sick to their stomachs. As a result, many taboo topics will appear in these questions. Please be aware of that in advance. Now, we will journey into the most depraved depths of human history in the hopes of not only becoming more educated to stand vigil against such abuses in the future, but of also becoming more appreciative of those brave heroes who risked their lives to bring these figures to justice.

But not every Axis fighter was a monster. Some were merely villains in the sense that they fought on behalf of the wicked. This quiz will feature figures from both categories among the ranks of the Axis Powers.

Good luck. See how well you know villains of world war two.
