U.S. Constitution

Everything on Earth has an origin, and for the United States, that origin can be traced to the forming of its Constitution. By combining elements from some of the foremost political thinkers of the Enlightenment, the framers were able to create a government that would be effective in aiding its citizenry while not impeding their core liberties.

Then, they gathered some of the most brilliant experts on government, economics, and the nation itself to make sure their new system of government could address the challenges facing this new nation. At the end of this historic convention, the framework for the modern American government was in place.
