Historic Outlaws
The title of outlaw unites many types of rogues under a single tidy classification. Those who forsake wider society in order to live lawless existences often victimizing others are what we would consider outlaws. From gunslinging desperadoes to pirate lords and even organized mobsters, outlaws are often a step above your average criminal. In this quiz, we will be searching through human history to find a list of some of the most notorious crooks to ever pursue lives of depravity.
Naturally, most of the people on this list were evil. We have absolutely no desire to glorify or honor such individuals. Learning about the monstrous outlaws of the past helps us to learn the value of our civic duty. The need to pursue justice and mercy in all people is what separates us from the worst of our ancestors, but we cannot ignore their examples lest we turn a blind eye to their return.
The exact classifications that define an outlaw are a touch vague. As a result, some of the historical figures on this list might be a touch abstract based on what we know of their deeds and the time period in which they lived. A vast catalogue of some of the most historic and legendary crooks will appear on this list.
As much as to test, this quiz is meant to inform, so we hope you come out of it knowing something new. How much do you know about world history? Take our Historic Outlaws Quiz to find out.
